Decent product but installation instructions lacking
The module itself is good for my 1998 Mercury, but the installation instructions were somewhat unclear. It took me a couple of tries to get everything right. Once it was installed, though, everything worked as it should. Just don’t expect a step-by-step guide.

Great fix for old engine issues
I replaced the oil warning module on my 1995 Mariner with this CDI part, and it’s been running smoothly since. Installation was straightforward, and I appreciate that it’s designed for 2-4 cylinder engines from that era. Definitely a good purchase!

Not a good fit for my engine

Solid replacement for my engine
I installed the CDI Electronics 144-4857 oil warning module on my 1997 Mariner, and it works like a charm. The oil warning light was driving me crazy before, but now it’s all sorted out. It’s a bit tricky to install, but if you're handy, you'll figure it out easily enough.
