Boiler Rust Inhibitor is a highly concentrated liquid buffered Nitrite/ Borate/ Silicate inhibitor designed for closed loop or open loop Woodstoves or Wood Boilers with minimal water losses. It is: Designed to work most makes and models of outdoor wood furnaces, woodstoves, and commercial and residential boilers. Formulated to provide proper corrosion protection for copper, mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum. It may be used with either hard or soft water and is compatible with glycol anti-freeze. 1/2 Gallon will treat 250 gallons of make-up water. I was excited to use the ChemWorld Rust Inhibitor but the container arrived slightly damaged, leaking a bit. I managed to pour it into another bottle without losing too much product. Just hope the quality holds up!

Great rust prevention for my boiler
I bought the ChemWorld Boiler Rust Inhibitor to treat our old boiler system and it’s really done the job. I was able to treat up to 250 gallons of water without any hassle. The 1.2-gallon size is perfect because I still have some left for future use!

Good product, but shipping was slow
The rust inhibitor works well so far, as I haven’t seen any new rust in the boiler. However, the delivery took longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating. I’d recommend it if you’re not in a hurry!
