Carrying on a tradition of durability and dependability, Clevite Bimetal (aluminum) engine bearings feature 100% lead-free aluminum silicon. Engineered with 60% more silicon than comparable competitive replacements, they provide better conditioning of journal surfaces. This results in greater seizure and wear resistance.
The bearings seem solid and I appreciate the Clevite brand's reputation. Just wish the shipping hadn’t taken so long. I had to push back my rebuild project because of that, but at least the product quality is on point!

Not what I expected, stopped working early
Unfortunately, one of the bearings failed after just a few hundred miles. I thought Clevite was a reliable brand, but this has left me disappointed. I wouldn’t trust these for a high-performance build. Maybe just a bad batch?

Decent bearings but some issues
I installed these connecting rod bearings, but I noticed a slight fit issue on one rod. It took some extra time to get it right. They work fine now, but I expected better from Clevite. Just check the measurements before you go ahead with installation.

Great Quality Bearings for My Engine
