The Convert-A-Ball Bolt-On Pintle Hitch system tows pintle-equipped trailers with the pintle sleeve and converts for regular trailer towing with the included stainless steel interchangeable balls. The standard bolt-n pattern bolts to a flat surface, any standard bolt-on adapter, or the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 2" receiver hitch adapters (sold separately). With the pintle sleeve latch engaged and locked, the hitch is rated at 25,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 5,000 maximum tongue weight. When towing with the interchangeable hitch balls, the hitch is rated at 10,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 2,000 lbs. maximum tongue weight. A spring-loaded, double engagement latch locks through the pintle sleeve and pintle ring for increased strength and reliability. An automatic rustproof latch and manual safety pin insures a locked hooked-up. You can convert from a pintle hitch to a ball hitch quickly and easily without tools. T
