With that combination along with its modern hybrid 4-5 rib tread design and unique tread features, the S/T Maxx is destined to be a commercial grade traction tire that will perform in the toughest terrains while retaining remarkable on-road traction, stability and low noise characteristics. The Discoverer S/T Maxx is designed for commercial light truck and high-powered torque vehicles. Coopers proven, class-leading 3-ply Armor-Tek3 construction contributes to the durability of the S/T Maxx by adding strength to the sidewall and tread area. I received my Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx tires, and while they look great, one tire had a small defect in the sidewall. I was able to get a replacement, but it was a hassle. Once installed, they do perform well, so I’m torn on whether to give them a good or bad rating.

Fantastic all-around tire choice!
These Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx tires are just what I needed for my truck. They’re tough, LT275/70R17 tires that grip well in mud and snow. I’m confident driving in all seasons now. Highly recommend if you need reliability and strength!

Great grip for off-roading!
I bought these Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx tires for my truck and they have been fantastic on rocky terrain. The LT275/70R17 size fits perfectly, and I feel much more secure on off-road trips now. Plus, they've held up well in different weather conditions, which is a bonus!

Good tires, but installation was tricky
The Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx tires are solid and have decent traction, but I had a tough time getting them mounted correctly. They’re LT275/70R17, which I thought would be a breeze, but the shop struggled a bit. Once on, they’ve performed well in all seasons.

Not the best for city driving
I got these Cooper tires for my SUV thinking they'd handle everything, but they’re a bit noisy on highways. The LT275/70R17 size is great for off-road, but in the city, they don't give me the smooth ride I expected. Good for rugged terrain though!
