The Cub Cadet block kit is solid, but I struggled a bit with the installation for my GT LTX 1045. Had to rewatch some videos to get it right. Once it was in, the mower ran like new!

Great for my XT1 mower!
I replaced the motor block on my XT1 with this kit, and I’m impressed! The power output is significantly better now, and the whole process took less time than expected. Definitely worth the investment if you're looking to extend the life of your mower.

Disappointed with the quality
I had high hopes for this block kit but was let down. The piston didn’t fit as well as I expected for my LGT 1054, and it left a slight gap. I had to take it to a shop for adjustment, which was frustrating.

Solid replacement for my lawn tractor
I bought the Cub Cadet TT-168T2025080 block kit for my LGT 1042 and it works great! The piston fit perfectly and it definitely improved my mower's performance. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully during installation.
