I installed the Dayco idler tensioner pulley without too much trouble, but I did notice it makes a slight noise when the engine is cold. It works fine once it warms up, but I wish the instructions were clearer. Still, for the money, it's okay.

Solid performance for my car
Replaced my old idler pulley with the Dayco 89182 and it's been working great ever since. The fit was spot on and it really quieted down the engine noise. I appreciate the quality of this part for the price I paid.

Not impressed with the quality
The Dayco 89182 idler pulley arrived quickly, but sadly it started rattling after just a few weeks. I expected it to last longer than that. Maybe I just got a defective one, but I won't be buying this brand again.
