Unfortunately, the generator didn’t work for my 1942 Ford 2N right out of the box. It arrived with some visible damage, and after trying to install it, it wouldn't even power up. Very disappointed with my purchase.

Powerful generator for vintage tractors
I installed this DB Electrical generator on my 1947 Ford 2N tractor, and it works like a charm! The 14,000 watts is more than enough for my needs, and it fits perfectly without any modifications. Highly recommend for anyone restoring these older models!

Good fit but had some shipping issues
The generator itself is solid and compatible with my Ford 8N. However, it took a while to arrive, and the packaging was a bit banged up. Once I got it installed, it powered up nicely, so I’m happy with the performance.

Works fine, but not as powerful as claimed
I bought this generator for my 1948 Ford 9N but found it struggles a bit under heavier loads. It definitely does the job for light tasks, but I was expecting more power based on the specs. Quality seems good though, so it might be fine for others.
