For the most permanent results heat water to 150 degrees and then mix with the dye concentrate. Apply immediately so the dye mixture is as hot as possible to achieve the most permanent results. Left over dye can be reheated to the recommended 150 degrees for any future applications. This product is formulated for Automotive use only, if used for anything other than automotive carpets we cannot guarantee satisfactory results. Our liquid auto carpet dye is perfect to use on faded carpets that need some good rejuvenation. We stock 19 popular colors of liquid carpet dyes that are sure to match just about all car interiors. If your auto carpets have lost their pop and rejuvenate faded carpet then our liquid carpet dyes are a good choice. Keep in mind this carpet dye is not intended to change the original color only to enhance the existing color and freshen it up. If you need to cover stains an aerosol dye would be recommended. Mix this 8 fl oz with 24 fl oz of water in a Detail King spray bottle to make 32 fl oz of dye. This product eliminates the need for costly carpet repair. While the dye gave my carpet a nice new color, it didn't quite cover some of the old stains as I hoped. It's great for refreshing the look, but if your carpet has heavy stains, you might need to prep it first. Not a bad product overall!
