I recently installed the Detroit Axle brake kit on my 2009 Chevrolet HHR SS, and I can really feel the difference. The drilled and slotted rotors provide great stopping power, and the ceramic pads are nice and quiet. Installation was straightforward, although I did have to watch a few videos for tips. Definitely worth the investment!

Not what I hoped for
Unfortunately, the brake kit didn’t meet my expectations. The rotors started to warp after just a few weeks of regular driving on my 2010 HHR SS. I was really looking forward to the performance boost, but it’s been disappointing. I’d look for other options if I had to do it again.

Good set, but minor shipping issue
The brake rotors and pads from Detroit Axle are solid and fit my 2008 HHR perfectly. The performance is good, especially with the drilled and slotted design. My only complaint is that the package arrived a day late, which was a bit frustrating. Other than that, I’m satisfied with how they work.
