The kit works well for my 2012 Tacoma, but let me tell you, the instructions are a bit lacking. It took me longer than I expected to figure things out, and I’m no novice. If you’re willing to do some research, it’s a decent upgrade to your front end.

Good upgrade for my Tacoma
I installed this Detroit Axle control arms kit on my 2006 Tacoma and I can feel the difference! The lower control arms with the ball joints were pretty easy to swap out. They look solid and have made my ride a lot smoother. Definitely worth it for an older truck like mine.

Decent but could be better
I bought this kit for my 2010 Tacoma, and while it fit well, I had some trouble getting the upper ball joints settled in. Instructions weren’t clear enough. Still, it worked out in the end, but I’d recommend checking a few YouTube videos for help!

Not what I expected
I was excited to get this control arms kit, but when it arrived, one of the ball joints was damaged. I reached out to customer service, but it took a while to get a replacement. The product itself seems fine, but the whole experience was a bit frustrating.

Great value for the price
This 4-piece control arm kit from Detroit Axle was a great deal. Everything fit perfectly on my 2005 Tacoma. The quality seems pretty good, and I appreciate that it came with both lower control arms and upper ball joints. Makes my truck handling much better!
