The Detroit Axle brake kit works great, but I found the instructions somewhat unclear. It took me longer to install than expected, especially on the rear rotors. Once I got everything in place, performance has been solid in my '03 Focus.

I bought the Detroit Axle brake kit for my 2001 Ford Focus and was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. The rotors look good and the ceramic pads stop very smoothly, but it did take a while to arrive after ordering.

Not impressed with the rotors
I had high hopes for this brake kit, but the rotors started to warp after only a few months of use on my 2003 Focus. The ceramic pads are good, but the rotors just didn’t hold up. I wouldn’t buy this kit again.
