I was really looking forward to this kit but it arrived with a dented part. After dealing with customer service, they sent a replacement, but it delayed my project. The quality seems decent, but that initial experience put a damper on things.

Solid Replacement for My Explorer
I swapped out the old suspension with this Detroit Axle kit on my 1998 Ford Explorer. The lower control arms fit perfectly, and the ride feels much smoother now. Installation was straightforward and I didn’t even need to consult a mechanic this time!

Installation was a hassle
While the Detroit Axle kit works well after installation, I found the directions a bit unclear. It took longer than I expected to get everything set up on my 1999 Mountaineer. Once in, it does the job, but I wouldn't mind clearer instructions next time.

Highly recommend for older models
This suspension kit for my 1997 Explorer is fantastic! The lower control arms are sturdy, and the vehicle feels much more stable now. I’m impressed with the build quality for the price. Definitely glad I made this purchase!

Good but had a shipping issue
