I installed this Detroit Axle brake kit on my 2003 Toyota Highlander and the difference is night and day. The drilled and slotted rotors really improve stopping power, and the ceramic pads are so quiet. I was impressed with how easy the installation was too!

Stopped Working After a Short Time
I’m really disappointed in this brake kit. Installed it on my 2002 Highlander, and one of the pads started to disintegrate within a month. I followed all installation instructions carefully. Now I have to buy another set, which is frustrating.

The brake kit seems solid overall, but the shipping took longer than I expected. I had to follow up a couple of times. The installation went smoothly, and they perform well so far. Just wish they wouldn’t have taken a week to arrive!
