The kit works well for my 2013 Sonata, and it was a good price compared to others. The only issue I had was with the instructions—they were a bit unclear, which made the setup take longer than expected. But once it was all together, the steering feels way better!

Great value, but arrived late
I was happy with the Detroit Axle steering rack and pinion kit; it performed well on my 2011 Sonata. However, the delivery took longer than promised, which was frustrating. But once it was installed, I noticed a big difference in steering response, so I’m glad I stuck it out!

Disappointed with quality
I had high hopes for this kit, but the steering rack stopped working after just a few weeks. I followed all installation guidelines on my 2012 Sonata, and it felt great initially, but now I’m dealing with issues. Very disappointing for the price. Would not recommend.

Solid steering upgrade for my Sonata
I bought the Detroit Axle rack and pinion kit for my 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Installation was straightforward, and it really improved the steering feel on my car. The front wheel bearings are a nice bonus, making everything feel tight and responsive again!
