I like the Detroit Axle brake kit I got for my 2003 Volkswagen Passat. The braking performance is solid with the ceramic pads, but the packaging arrived a bit damaged, which made me worry about the parts inside. Thankfully, everything was intact and working great!

Brakes are pretty good!
Just replaced my brakes with this Detroit Axle kit on my 2003 Passat and I’m happy with it. The ceramic pads are quiet and they grip well. Stopping feels much more secure. Just make sure you have the right tools for the job, installation can take some time!

Stopped working after a few months
I had high hopes for the Detroit Axle brake kit for my 2004 Passat, but unfortunately, the brakes started squeaking and losing effectiveness after just a few months of use. I expected better durability. Not sure if I’d buy again.
