Unfortunately, my experience with this brake kit hasn’t been great. The pads started squeaking after just a month, and I feel like the rotors are wearing down quicker than they should. Disappointed, really.

Great upgrade for my Outback
I installed this Detroit Axle brake kit on my 2005 Subaru Outback, and I’m loving the performance. The ceramic brake pads are super quiet and the stopping power is fantastic. Definitely a solid replacement for the old ones!

Mounting was more complicated than expected
While the Detroit Axle brake kit works well on my 2005 Subaru Outback, I found the mounting instructions a bit tricky. After a few tries, I got it to fit, but it wasn’t as straightforward as I hoped. The brakes do perform well once installed though!

Perfect for a DIY mechanic
If you're comfortable with some basic car work, this brake kit is perfect! The rotors fit my 2005 Outback like a glove, and the ceramic pads are fantastic. I saved a lot by doing this myself, and the quality seems great!

Good value for the price
This brake kit was a decent buy for my 2005 Outback. The installation wasn't too hard, and the new rotors look great. Just wish they included better instructions because I had to figure some things out on my own.
