I installed this Detroit Axle brake kit on my 2006 Ford Five Hundred, and the difference is night and day. The ceramic brake pads are super quiet, and the rotors feel solid. Stopping power is definitely improved, plus I love that they came as a complete kit so installation was straightforward!

Solid Brakes, But Shipping Was a Hassle
While the Detroit Axle brake kit works great on my 2007 Taurus X, I had some issues with shipping. It took longer than expected to arrive. Once I got it, though, the installation was easy and the braking performance is solid. Just wish the shipping had been smoother.

Decent Kit for the Price
I got this brake kit for my Mercury Montego since my old brakes were worn out. The ceramic pads work well, but I did notice some slight squeaking after a few weeks. Installation was pretty simple, so that’s a plus. Not bad overall!

Had Issues with the Pads
I was excited to install this brake kit on my Mercury Sable, but unfortunately, the brake pads didn’t fit well and I had to adjust them. The rotors are fine but the pads are a bit of a letdown. Maybe I just got a bad set, but I expected better.
