Unfortunately, my experience with this brake kit has been disappointing. After installing it on my 2006 Honda Pilot, I started hearing a grinding noise after just a month. I followed all the installation instructions, but something seems off. I expected better longevity from Detroit Axle.

Great quality brake kit for my Pilot!
I installed the Detroit Axle brake kit on my 2005 Honda Pilot, and I’m really happy with the quality. The rotors and ceramic pads work great together; the stopping power feels solid. Just make sure you have the right tools for installation, but it wasn’t too complicated!

Solid performance but missing some hardware
I like the Detroit Axle brake kit, especially the ceramic pads, but I noticed it didn’t come with all the hardware I needed. I had to run to the store to get some clips. Once installed, the braking is very responsive. Just check that you have everything before starting!
