Installed this Detroit Axle brake kit on my Ford Ranger, and the difference is night and day! The calipers feel sturdy and the installation wasn't too complicated. Stopping power is excellent, and it really improved my driving confidence.

Great value but arrived late
Got this Detroit Axle front brake kit for my Mercury Mountaineer, and it works just fine. Really good bang for your buck. However, it took longer than expected to arrive, which was a bit disappointing. Luckily, the performance made up for it once I got it installed!

Mixed feelings about the calipers
I bought the Detroit Axle brake kit for my Explorer, and while the stopping performance is great, I had a bit of trouble with the installation instructions. They weren't very clear, which made it a little frustrating. But once I figured it out, it works well!

One caliper had a leak
I had high hopes for this brake kit, but one of the calipers started leaking after a few weeks. Not impressed with that. It did stop decently while it worked, but now I need to replace it already. Wouldn't buy again personally.
