I’m pleased with the Detroit Axle CV axle for my 2002 VW Passat. The part seems durable and works great. However, it took longer to arrive than expected. If you don’t mind waiting a bit, it’s a solid buy!

Not impressed, arrived damaged
Unfortunately, the CV axle I received was damaged upon arrival. The box was banged up, and there was a dent in the axle itself. Had to return it, which was a hassle. Not a good experience for me.

Solid replacement part for my A4
This CV axle was a perfect match for my 1999 Audi A4 Quattro. It was easy to install, and I've been driving on it for a couple of weeks now without any issues. Definitely a better experience than the last replacement I tried!

Decent axle, bit of a hassle to install
The CV axle works fine for my 2001 Audi A4, but I had some trouble during installation. The instructions weren’t very clear, which led to a few frustrating hours. It functions well now, but I’d suggest watching a video for guidance if you’re new to this.

Good part but poor instructions
The CV axle seems to work great on my VW Passat, but I found the installation instructions to be lacking. It took longer than I thought because I had to figure out a few things on my own. The part itself seems reliable though!
