The CV axle from Detroit Axle works fine on my 99 GMC Jimmy. It performs alright, but I was frustrated with the shipping delay. It took almost a week to arrive, which was longer than I anticipated. Just be prepared for that if you order!

Not as durable as I hoped
I had high hopes for this CV axle, but it started making noise after just a couple of months. It’s installed on my Olds Bravada, and while the initial performance was great, I’m disappointed in the longevity. Looks good, but needs better durability.

Installation was tricky but worth it
Installing this CV axle on my Chevy S10 was a bit tricky. The instructions weren't super clear, but once I figured it out, it works like a charm! Definitely improved my ride quality. Just a heads up, you might need some extra tools!
