I really wanted to like this brake kit for my 2006 GMC Sierra, but the rotors started to rust after just a few months. They worked fine at first, but I was expecting better durability for the price. I ended up having to look for replacements sooner than I wanted.

Great upgrade for my Silverado
I recently installed the Detroit Axle rear brake kit on my 2005 Chevy Silverado, and I’m really happy with it. The drilled and slotted rotors give me better stopping power, and the calipers seem solid. The installation was straightforward too, which is a plus for someone like me who isn't a mechanic by any means.

Solid performance but color mismatch
I bought this brake kit for my 2003 Chevy Silverado. The performance is solid, with excellent stopping power. However, the calipers were not the same color as my OEM ones, which was a bit disappointing since I like everything to match. Functionally, I can't complain though!

Decent brakes but had installation issues
The brake kit is good quality, but I struggled a bit with the installation. The instructions weren’t very clear, and it took longer than I expected for my 2004 GMC Sierra. Once everything was set up, they perform well, but I wish the install process was easier.
