This pair of electric brake assemblies fits Dexter 7k axles. 1 left & 1 right gives you the benefit of servicing 1 complete axle. These brakes are self-adjusting for low maintenance & high performance. 12 x 2 5-Bolt backing plate.
I installed the Dexter 7,000 lb trailer axle on my boat trailer and it’s been fantastic. The electric brake kit made a significant difference in stopping power, especially when towing heavy loads. It was straightforward to install, and I really appreciate that it comes with both left and right-hand brakes. Definitely boosting my confidence on the road!

Arrived damaged, disappointing.
I was excited to get my Dexter trailer axle, but it arrived with some dents and scratches that made me question its integrity. The packaging could have been better to protect it during shipping. After trying to reach customer service, I was left feeling unsatisfied. I hope the replacement comes in better condition!

Decent product, some installation issues
The Dexter axle seems solid and well-built, but I had a tough time with the installation instructions. They were a bit unclear, especially when it came to the electric brake connections. Once I figured it out, it worked great and my trailer is running smoothly now, but it was frustrating at first. Love the brakes though!
