Extend the protection on your Legacy shoulder pads with the Douglas Legacy Removable Football Back Plate - 4 Inch. The 4-inch tall back plate attaches easily to your Legacy pads and has extra grommet holes to give you a perfect fit.
While I think the Douglas back plate is a solid product, it didn’t fit my son's uniform quite right. It’s a nice 4-inch plate, but the mounting clips could be better. He still uses it, but I wish it was a bit more versatile.

Arrived damaged, disappointing
I was really looking forward to this back plate, but it arrived with a noticeable dent. It was such a letdown since we needed it for practice. I reached out to customer service, but I’m still waiting on a replacement. Wish it could've been packaged better.

Could use better instructions
The back plate is sturdy and does what it’s supposed to do, but I found the instructions a bit unclear. I struggled a little to figure out how to mount it. Once it was on, though, it felt secure and added good protection during games.

Great addition for young players
I bought this Douglas Legacy removable football back plate for my son, who just started playing. It fits perfectly and provides just the right amount of protection. Installation was a breeze, and it's 4 inches long, which seems great for his size. Definitely helps him feel more confident on the field!
