One of the most common issues with electric Club Car vehicles today is the MCOR, or Motor Controller Output Regulator. The MCOR for sale on this particular listing is the ''MCOR 4''. The MCOR 4 is a rather new design. It is a direct replacement for the problematic MCOR 3. A failed unit will result in the vehicle not being able to maintain a steady speed. Jerky or hesitant operation will drive you crazy. The internal contacts of the MCOR get corroded and can no longer provide a clean throttle signal to the controller. An MCOR can also fail and keep a vehicle from running entirely. This happens when the internal micro switch fails and does not close when the pedal is depressed. If you have any of these symptoms, this may be the solution to your problem. Please read the compatibility section of this listing as there are a few different styles of MCOR units for this vehicle. Please ask if you need help. Thanks for looking! Installation: Installation is extremely easy. Remove the four T-40 Torx screws in the floormat retainers. Remove the floormat. Remove the pedal assembly by removing the two T40 and two T30 Torx screws holding it onto the vehicle frame. Life the pedal assembly out of the car for access to the MCOR. Remove the mounting hardware and remove the defective unit. Install the new MCOR in the opposite order of disassembly. Please ask if you have any questions. Compatibility: The MCOR 4 is the newest version of MCOR and can be adapted to any vehicle with the correct conversion kit. This listing is for the MCOR 4 only, without any conversion brackets. Note that vehicles that are already equipped with either the MCOR 3 or the MCOR 4 do not need a conversion kit for this to fit. In this case, this will be a direct bolt on. MCOR3 began production in 2012 model Precedents. Anything older than than 2012 will definitely need a conversion kit.
