Carb Defender utilizes special corrosion inhibitors to prevent costly repairs and poor performance caused by ethanol blended gasoline and the moisture it attracts. This product also restores performance and protects carburetors from performance-robbing deposits. Designed for the unique needs of classic vehicles, that spends much of their lives in storage between cruises and special events. The problem: ethanol corrosion in carbureted hot rods the use of ethanol in modern pump fuel increases the risk of carburetor and fuel system corrosion. Ethanol is hygroscopic, so it absorbs moisture. This moisture causes corrosion in both the fuel system and inside the engine. High levels of ethanol dilution in the motor oil can lead to increased moisture in the crankcase, therefore causing rust and other corrosion problems. Ethanol by itself is corrosive to components like carburetors. These problems are compounded by long term vehicle storage. Simply pour-in a bottle of Carb Defender with each fill-up, especially before extended storage periods.
I've been using the Driven Racing Oil Carb Defender in my vintage Mustang for a few weeks, and I can really notice the difference. The engine runs smoother, and I love that it's only 10 oz, so it doesn't take up too much space in my garage. Definitely a must for any classic car owner!

Decent product but pricey
I tried the Carb Defender fuel additive after hearing all the buzz. It does help with engine performance, but honestly, I expected a bit more for the price. Still, it’s a solid product and I might buy it again if I find it on sale.

Not what I expected
I was really excited to use the Carb Defender, but my experience hasn't been great. My car didn't respond as I hoped, and I feel like it didn’t improve the fuel efficiency as advertised. Might work for others, but it didn’t do much for me.

This 10 oz fuel additive has really helped my car. I noticed improved throttle response after adding it to my tank. Just remember to follow the instructions carefully, or you might not get the results you want. Worth trying, especially for performance enthusiasts!
