This shifter box from EMPI is okay. It gets the job done, but I feel like it could be more responsive. It looks nice in my VW buggy, though, and it’s pretty easy to install. Not bad for the money!

Not as durable as I hoped
I had high hopes for this EMPI shifter, but it broke after just a few outings in my sand rail. The shifting was great at first, but then it started to feel loose. Disappointed with this purchase.

Mixed feelings on this shifter
I think the EMPI shifter box works well on my VW buggy, but it did come with some minor scratches. I expected it to be in better condition when it arrived. Still performs fine, but the packaging could be better.
