Once youve installed an aftermarket Fuel Filtration System such as our FASS Titanium Series, the use of the factory fuel filter is no longer required and can be removed. Because your Duramax factory fuel filter is located after our filtration system you will still need to replace the factory filter every 5,000-8,000 miles. This filter delete kit will replace your now useless fuel filter with a spin on canister that will allow fuel to flow freely into the engine, saving you even more money. This spin on Fuel Filter Delete Kit is a perfect addition to your FASS Titanium diesel fuel pump and comes with all required hardware for a professional installation.
I bought this Fass filter delete for my 2014 Duramax, and while it does the job, I expected an easier installation process. Had to watch a couple of videos to figure it out. It works great now but be prepared for a little hassle.

Installation was a bit tricky
The Fass fuel filter delete for my 2003 Duramax works well, but I found the installation instructions unclear. Took me longer than expected to get it set up. Once I got it working, though, fuel flow improved significantly!

Received damaged, but still works
The Fass filter delete arrived with a small dent, but it was still functional. I installed it on my 2008 Duramax, and it performs well. Just wish the packaging had been better. Wasn't expecting damage on delivery.
