This listing is for an Engine Overhaul Gasket Set compatible replacements for 1957-1979 small block Chevy 283, 307, 327, and 350 V8 engines with a 2 piece rear main seal and left hand oil pan dipsticks. This kit will not fit the 305 and 400 V8 engines. It includes all the necessary gaskets and seals for one complete engine rebuild. Gasket set includes the following pieces: Cylinder head gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, timing cover gasket, timing cover seal, oil pan gaskets, water pump gaskets, fuel pump gasket, thermostat water outlet housing gaskets, distributor gasket, o-ring valve stem seals, and rear main seal.
I bought this Fel-Pro gasket set for my 1965 Chevy 283, but it had some issues. A few gaskets didn’t fit correctly and I ended up with a leak after installation. I expected better from Fel-Pro since they are known for quality products. Not happy with this purchase.

The Fel-Pro gasket set worked fine for my small block Chevy, but I found the lack of installation instructions a little annoying. I had to look up a few things online to figure out the order of assembly. Still, it’s a solid product for the price. Just be prepared to do some research!
