I was looking for a true black, but this leather color has a bit of a glossy finish that I didn’t like. Also, my package arrived with a small dent. It still works fine, but I'd hoped for a different finish.

I used Fiebing's LeatherColors in black for my leather wallet project, and the color is just gorgeous! It's deep and covers well, really giving my project a professional look. Just make sure to apply it evenly for best results.

Good Product, but Messy Application
The Fiebing's black leather color works great, but I found the application a bit messy. I had to be careful not to spill any on my work surface. Once you get the hang of it, the color comes out nice, though!

Arrived Damaged, Dye Works Fine
Unfortunately, my bottle of Fiebing's leather color came with a cracked lid which made it hard to store. Luckily, the dye itself works well on my projects. Just wish the packaging was better!
