The Big Switch is a heavy-duty Battery Disconnect Switch with increased terminal space rated at 250 Amps continuous service and 2500 Amps for 5 second intervals (12V/24V). The Big Switch is manufactured with silver plated electrical contacts and with a completely sealed, waterproof design, is able to withstand the most severe operating conditions.
I had high hopes for this Flaming River battery disconnect switch, but it just didn’t fit my setup properly. The lock-out feature seemed useful, but unfortunately, it didn't work out for my application. Disappointed!

Works Well, but Delivery Was Slow
The battery disconnect switch from Flaming River operates pretty well and is quite sturdy. However, I did experience a delay in delivery, which was frustrating. Would've been nice to get it sooner for my project.

Solid Product for My Needs
I installed the Flaming River FR1044 battery disconnect switch on my RV, and it works just as described. The ability to lock it out is a great safety feature. No more worries about accidental drain while parked!
