The Flow FX series mufflers are for the enthusiast who is looking for an economically priced performance muffler that delivers a moderate sound level and tone, both inside and outside the vehicle. The large straight-through smooth core offers up a different sound than that typical chambered sound that Flow master has become famous for. These new mufflers have a compact 4. 00 inch diameter round body that will fit nicely on just about any application and feature a fully welded 409S stainless steel case for increased durability.
The Flowmaster 71416 mufflers give a nice sound, but I struggled a little with the installation. The instructions weren’t super clear, and it took longer than expected. Once done, though, I was happy with the result!

Not what I expected
I was really looking forward to these mufflers, but the sound is a bit quieter than I thought it would be. They seem well-built, but I wanted a more aggressive tone. It's not bad, just not what I was hoping for.

I installed the Flowmaster FlowFX mufflers last weekend, and they sound amazing! The moderate sound level is just right for my truck. The installation was pretty straightforward, too. Definitely a solid buy!
