I liked the Gabriel suspension strut once I got it on, but the instructions were a little unclear. It took me a while to figure out how to install it properly without making mistakes. After I got it done, the car rides much better and the strut feels solid, but I wish the setup was easier.

Solid replacement for my old strut
I installed the Gabriel G511054 suspension strut on my car last week and it’s been great! The ride feels much smoother now, and the handling is way better. Installation was pretty straightforward, took me about an hour in my garage. Couldn't be happier!

Arrived damaged and didn't work
I really wanted to like this strut but it arrived with a dent and didn’t function properly. I tried installing it and my car was still bumpy as ever. I had to return it, which was a hassle. Not happy with this purchase at all.

Decent strut but minor shipping hiccup
The strut itself seems to be working fine, but I was really frustrated with the shipping delay. It took an extra week to arrive, which was a bummer since I wanted to get it installed before a weekend trip. The strut performs well now, though, so I guess it was worth the wait.
