The Gabriel G51838 strut works well on my 2003 Outlander, but I wish the installation instructions were clearer. It took me a bit longer than expected to figure it out. Once installed, it made a noticeable difference in handling, though!

Disappointed with the quality
I had high hopes for the Gabriel G51838 strut, but it started leaking after just a couple of months. I thought I was getting a reliable replacement for my 2004 Outlander, but now I’m looking for a different brand. Really frustrating!

Not bad, but arrived slightly damaged
I got the Gabriel G51838 strut for my Outlander and while it performs well, I was disappointed that it arrived with a few minor scratches. It still works great and the ride has improved significantly, but I expected better packaging. Just check the item upon arrival!
