Gates Automotive XL V-Belt is a durable, long-lasting replacement V-belt designed for the most demanding engine drives. Due to thermal forces in the vehicle engine, this variable notched belt tightens on the drive as it heats up to prevent slippage, improve belt performance and reduce noise.
I bought the Gates 7485 belt for casual outings, and it's been great. The material feels durable, and I appreciate that it's not too bulky. It fits perfectly around my waist without pinching. Good value for the price!

Not exactly as I expected
This Gates belt is decent, but I had some trouble with sizing. The measurements were a bit off for me, and it was a little tight. Once I adjusted it, though, it works well for daily use. Just be careful with your size!

Great durability, but a bit stiff
I've been using the Gates 7485 for a few weeks now, and while it seems super sturdy, it's also quite stiff. Breaking it in took longer than I thought. Once it loosens up, I think I’ll enjoy it more, but right now it feels a bit restrictive.
