Gates Automotive XL V-Belt is a durable, long-lasting replacement V-belt designed for the most demanding engine drives. Due to thermal forces in the vehicle engine, this variable notched belt tightens on the drive as it heats up to prevent slippage, improve belt performance and reduce noise.
I bought the Gates 9447 XL high-capacity V-belt for my lawn tractor, and it’s been working like a charm. The installation was pretty easy and the belt feels super durable. It’s definitely holding up well, even during those tough mowing sessions.

Arrived Damaged, Very Disappointed
I was really looking forward to using the Gates 9447 XL belt, but it arrived with a noticeable tear. I tried to contact support, but it took ages to get a response. Ultimately had to return it. Not impressed with the packaging either.

Decent but had some issues
The Gates 9447 XL V-belt worked fine for a while, but I noticed some slipping after a few weeks. It fit my mower perfectly, but the performance dipped sooner than I expected. Not a total loss, but I’m not sure I’d get this model again.
