I replaced the thermostat in my 2018 Wrangler with this one from Gates. It works as expected, but I wouldn’t say it's anything special. It cools, but I felt the performance could be better. Not a bad purchase, but I might explore other options next time.

Good quality, but tricky installation
The Gates thermostat does its job well in my 2017 Jeep, but I struggled a bit with the installation. The instructions could’ve been clearer. After a few extra hours, I finally got it in, and now my engine temps are stable, so I'm happy with the purchase.

Disappointed - defective part
I had high hopes for this thermostat, but it started leaking after just a few weeks of use in my 2015 Wrangler. Really frustrated since I wanted a reliable part. I’m going to try returning it and see if another one works better.

Great performance for a good price
Just installed this Gates thermostat in my 2012 Wrangler V6, and it has been running flawlessly! The price was very reasonable, and it heats up quickly, making off-roading trips much more pleasant. Definitely a solid buy!

Works well, but shipping was slow
