I was really disappointed when this Gates pump showed up with a dent. I almost sent it back, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. It runs fine now, but I expected better packaging. Just be careful if you order this!

Decent pump, but instructions were vague
The water pump itself seems to be doing its job on my 1995 Cherokee, but I struggled a bit with the installation. The instructions weren't very clear, which made the process a bit frustrating. Once it was in, though, it works great!

Great fit for my Jeep!
I installed this Gates engine water pump on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L, and it works perfectly. The quality feels solid, and I haven't had any overheating issues since the replacement. Definitely a good purchase if you need a reliable pump for your older Jeep!
