Recoil by Gator is a retractable truck bed cover constructed for the ultimate in durability and bed security. Its tough, aluminum slats are held together by a strong elastomer hinge to eliminate any water and debris from entering your truck bed. To top it all off, the aluminum is powder coated with a textured, matte-black finish to preserve your truck bed from scratches and corrosion. Operating this cover is simple; unlock via an easy, quick release handle conveniently located on the driver side of the vehicle. To open the cover and access your truck bed, manually move the retractable cover towards the cab for it to retract into a slim profile canister. The Recoil truck bed cover has three adjustable, intermittent locks, which allows for custom locking points along the bed rail to fit a variety of hauling needs. The Gator Recoil cover does its job well, but the installation took longer than I expected. I had to fiddle with some parts to get everything lined up right. Once it was on, though, I appreciate the sleek look and how it protects my cargo. Just wish the instructions were clearer!

Great fit for my Silverado

Sturdy and reliable cover
I've been using this tonneau cover on my 2018 GMC Sierra, and it has held up really well through rain and shine. The retractable feature is a lifesaver. It rolls in and out smoothly, but I did notice a slight delay in shipping. Still, I’m happy with how well it keeps my truck bed secure!

Disappointed with the quality
I expected more from Gator. The cover looked great at first, but it started showing signs of wear after just a few months. The retractable mechanism has also been finicky. I really wanted to love it for my 2016 Chevy, but I can't recommend it based on my experience.
