Recoil by Gator is a retractable truck bed cover constructed for the ultimate in durability and bed security. Its tough, aluminum slats are held together by a strong elastomer hinge to eliminate any water and debris from entering your truck bed. To top it all off, the aluminum is powder coated with a textured, matte-black finish to preserve your truck bed from scratches and corrosion. Operating this cover is simple; unlock via an easy, quick release handle conveniently located on the driver side of the vehicle. To open the cover and access your truck bed, manually move the retractable cover towards the cab for it to retract into a slim profile canister. The Recoil truck bed cover has three adjustable, intermittent locks, which allows for custom locking points along the bed rail to fit a variety of hauling needs. Installed this Gator Tonneau cover on my 2018 Silverado. It's been great for keeping my gear dry and secure. Just wish the instructions were a bit clearer; I had to re-do a couple of steps. Still, really pleased with how it looks and functions!

Looks good but took a while to arrive
The Gator Recoil cover looks fantastic on my 2016 GMC Sierra. I love how it retracts smoothly, but I did have to wait longer than expected for delivery. Once it arrived, installation was easy, but just a heads up for anyone ordering. Overall, it's a nice cover!

Came damaged, not impressed
I was excited to get the Gator Recoil cover for my 2017 GMC Sierra, but it arrived with a dent in the side. It still works, but it doesn't look great. Customer service was slow to respond, which didn't help. Disappointed overall!
