Offering drivers reliable braking on wet roads, the AltiMAX RT45 utilizes Generals Replacement Tire Monitor which features letters in the tread that wear off to read REPLACE TIRE when the tire wears to 2/32 of tread depth, indicating a tire change is needed.
I was really looking forward to using these General Altimax RT45 tires, but they started wearing down much faster than expected. The performance was okay at first, but I wouldn't buy them again. Just not what I hoped for at this price point.

Solid Performance for My SUV
I recently put the General Altimax RT45 tires on my SUV and they’re performing really well. They handle nicely on both wet and dry roads, and I love the 245/50R18 size—it fits perfectly. Definitely a good value for the price!

Great All-Season Tires, But Delivery Was Late
These tires have been awesome in terms of grip and handling, especially during the rainy days. However, I had a bit of a wait for delivery which was frustrating. Still, I’m happy with the General brand in the end!
