The General Tire AltiMAX RT45 is a long-lasting, all-season touring tire for coupes, sedans, minivans, and crossovers thats backed by up to 75,000-miles of limited manufacturer tread life coverage. Offering drivers reliable braking on wet roads, the AltiMAX RT45 utilizes Generals Replacement Tire Monitor which features letters in the tread that wear off to read REPLACE TIRE when the tire wears to 2/32 of tread depth, indicating a tire change is needed.
I was excited to get my General Altimax tires, but when they arrived, one of them had a small scuff on the sidewall. They still work fine, but it was a bit disappointing. Shipping could be improved. Otherwise, they perform well!

These General Altimax RT45 tires are a great value! The ride is smooth, and the handling is impressive. I bought them for my daily commuter car, and they’ve been perfect so far. No complaints about traction either!

Solid performance, but a bit noisy
I've had these RT45 tires for a few weeks now. They perform well on the road, especially in rain. However, I did notice they're a bit louder than my previous tires. Still, for the price and quality, I think they're a good choice!

I recently put these General Tire Altimax RT45 tires on my car, and wow, what a difference! The 225/50R17 size fits perfectly, and they handle like a dream. They provide excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions. Definitely worth the investment!
