Grit Guard Washboard works in conjunction with the Grit Guard Insert. The Grit Guard Washboard works in conjunction with your Grit Guard Insert in a wash bucket to separate grit from your wash mitt. Grit Guard Washboard has no flat surfaces for dirt and grit to collect, like the Grit Guard Insert extracts contaminants from your cleaning tools. Rub the cleaning tool in a downward stoke against the Washboard to extract. All harmful contaminants settle at the bottom of the bucket. Particles such as dirt, grit and grime from your wash mitt are the root cause of scratches and swirls in your vehicles finish. Using the Grit Guard Washboard together with the Grit Guard Insert ensures a scratch-free finish when cleaning. This is a solid product for keeping my wash water clean. The washboard design helps a lot with dirt removal. I really like how it fits snugly on my grit guard without any issues. Worth the money for sure!

Arrived damaged, but still works
Unfortunately, my Grit Guard Washboard Insert showed up with a small crack. It still functions decently, but I wish it had arrived in perfect condition. Just be careful when ordering!

Decent but could use better instructions
The Grit Guard Insert works fine, but I struggled a bit with how to attach it to my existing grit guard. A clearer guide would have been helpful. Once I figured it out, it's been doing its job well!
