HALO V2 enhances the performance of paint protection film (PPF) and vinyl. Its a chemically bonding, ultra-dense flexible film that becomes the permanent surface of the film, protecting it from the elements a car faces on a daily basis. The density of the coating and its low surface energy improve the dirt and water repellency of PPF or vinyl. It also helps to prevent staining from dirt ingress, as well as reducing yellowing caused by UV rays. Overall, HALO V2 keeps the PPF looking in a much better condition and makes it much easier for people to keep their car clean following PPF/vinyl application. Rigorous real-world and laboratory testing has proven HALO to be compatible with all types of gloss, matte, and satin vinyl and PPF. It is also proven to work on self-healing films.
I recently used the Gtechniq Halo V2 on my car and I’m loving the results. The flexibility of this paint protection film is impressive; it adhered well to my matte finish wrap without any issues. Definitely worth the investment if you want to keep your wrap looking fresh!

Good Product, But a Bit Confusing
The Gtechniq Halo V2 does a decent job protecting my vinyl wrap, but I had some trouble understanding the instructions. It took me a couple of tries to get the application right. Still, once I figured it out, it worked well for both gloss and matte finishes.

Not for Satin Finishes
I tried using the Gtechniq Halo V2 on my satin wrap, but it didn’t perform as expected. The finish ended up looking a bit uneven, which was disappointing. Maybe it works better with gloss or matte, but for satin, I wouldn’t recommend it.
