HEI Distributor Replacement For Cleveland 351C, 351M, Replacement For Fords 400, 429, and 460. This is a new distributor not a second or blem. Perfect for upgrading non computer controlled engines. Fully CNC machined and polished housing with adjustable vacuum advance. Each distributor has a 65,000 volt coil to insure accurate and reliable timing to 7,500 RPM. The 4340 Chrome moly gear will work with cast or billet cams. True spark alignment for instant throttle response. Cap is 5 in diameter.
I replaced the old distributor in my 351M with this Hei module and it was super easy to install. The 7500 RPM ignition gives my engine a solid kick, and I love how responsive it is now. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their Ford engine!

Not what I expected
I was excited to get this HEI distributor for my 460, but it stopped working after just a few weeks. I really hoped it would last longer given the price. Very disappointed with this purchase!

Good unit, but arrived late
The HEI distributor works well in my 400 engine, firing right up and keeping the RPMs steady. However, it took longer than expected to arrive, which was a bit frustrating. I’m happy with its performance, though!

Decent replacement, just watch the wiring
I installed this in my 351C and it's been decent so far. The power increase is noticeable, especially at higher RPMs. Just be careful with the wiring when you install; the instructions could use some clarity. Overall, I'm satisfied!

Great for my 429, but cap issues
This distributor was a solid replacement for my 429. It runs great at high RPMs, but I had some trouble with the cap fitting properly. It still works, but I wish it had come with better fitting parts. Would consider it again for the price!
