Hengs Universal Roof Vent, Truly universal fits all existing R.O. This vent covers all existing screw holes in roof. One piece seamless frame, deep drawn metal base. Covers all interior stains left by former garnish rings. Positive-seal weather stripping is leak resistant and water tight. Interchangeable with existing ventline products. Self centering metal base with radius corners. Interior garnish with wider 1-1/4 inch flange and radius corners.
Got the Hengs universal vent for my basement. It does its job, but the installation was a bit tricky. The instructions weren't super clear, so it took a while to get it right. Once it was up, though, it works fine!

Arrived damaged, disappointing experience
Unfortunately, my Hengs vent arrived with a dent in it. The metal was bent and didn’t fit right. I reached out for a replacement, but the process was slow. Not the best purchase I’ve made.

Great airflow, but could be better
The Hengs metal vent looks nice and has improved airflow in my living room. However, I wish it came with better mounting hardware. I had to buy some separately, which was a hassle.
