This dynamic shield from HJC is coated with metallic compounds in a high vacuum chamber to give it a unique rainbow appearance.The coating improves eye protection via its high degree of surface reflection.It looks great too.Fits AC-12 (Fiberglass & Carbon), CL-15, CL-16, CL-SP (Ninja Zx & ZxsP), CS-R1, CS-R2, FS-10, FS-15 (Fiberglass, Carbon & Air), IS-16 helmetsDOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified.
Unfortunately, the shield I received had a small scratch on it, which was disappointing. The installation was easy, and it works fine, but I wish I had received a flawless product. Hope for better packaging in the future!

Looks good, but some minor issues
The HJC HJ-09 shield definitely enhances the look of my CL-17 helmet. However, I did find that it fogs up a bit easily in humid conditions. Still, the visibility is good when it’s clear.

Not as reflective as I hoped
I expected the silver mirror finish on the HJC shield to be more pronounced. It's nice, but it doesn't offer the level of reflection I wanted. Installation was simple, though!

Great visibility but hard to clean
I love the look of the HJC HJ-09 mirror shield on my CL-16 helmet. It provides excellent visibility during rides. The downside is that it’s kind of a pain to clean without leaving streaks. Still, I’d buy it again!

I bought the HJC HJ-09 shield for my CL-15 helmet and it's been fantastic. The silver mirror finish not only looks sleek but also helps reduce glare during sunny rides. Super easy to install, too!
