The HPI 03–07 LS Vortec Standalone Drive-By-Wire Wiring Harness for 4L80E is built to simplify the install with a standalone setup designed for 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L truck engines using drive-by-wire. It includes the 4L80E adapter that plugs into the 4L60E harness and comes with instructions for the two-wire pinning step noted on the live page.
BUILT FOR REAL LS SWAPS
This harness is listed for 2003–2007 Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, and Hummer truck engines and is intended for retrofit use in older muscle cars, street rods, and newer non-emissions-controlled vehicles. It is built to work with the factory Vortec intake manifold and Multec injectors, while also offering optional EV6 plug-and-play adapter connectors if needed.
4L80E READY
Unlike generic swap harnesses, this setup is specifically sold with a 4L80E adapter for applications using that transmission. HPI notes that the adapter plugs into the 4L60E harness and requires pinning two wires to the blue retainer, with instructions included. That makes it a practical option for builders who need 4L80E compatibility without piecing parts together on their own.
