The spark plug is a small device that fits into the cylinder head of the engine. It consists of a metal shell, an insulator, a center electrode, and a ground electrode. The center electrode is located inside the insulator and is connected to the ignition coil. The ground electrode is attached to the metal shell and is in contact with the engine cylinder. I ordered these plugs thinking they would fit my 2007 Prius, but they were a bit hard to install. After a couple of weeks, one started misfiring. I'm disappointed since I expected better quality from Iridium.
